Our team of compassionate and experienced professionals designs care plans addressing the individual needs of each patient and their loved ones for we believe in caring for the entire family.
Our ultimate objective is to ensure that this transitional period is one of comfort, focusing on eliminating both physical and emotional pain. We educate each family on our methods of caring for their loved one as well as identifying ways in which we can provide care and assistance to them.
Our Interdiciplinary Team
Our Medical Director is a highly skilled and caring physician that oversees treatment, planning, quality assurance and all medical aspects of indivdualized care of our hospice patients.
The Nursing Director at Gulf South Hospice is a Registered Nurse (RN) that works in collaboration with the Medical Director to manage all clinical operations including clinical staff, infection control policies, home treatment and execution of empathetic consultation of all loved ones/care takers.
Our staff social worker is a licensed professional responsible for providing compressive yet caring behavioral health resources to the patient and their loved ones. This includes consultation on hospice care services, treatment planning, end-of-life planning and post bereavement care.
Our Chaplain will ensure that the spiritual needs of you and your loved one during this time are met during and after your loved ones time of hospice care with us.
